Customer profile: a leading domestic crawler crane and construction machinery manufacturer with a nationwide service network.

Challenge: the customer required an irregularly-shaped stainless steel forging with large variations in wall thickness, posing rigorous challenges for material flow and die design.

Our solution

Our technical team re-designed the preform and selected an appropriate stainless steel grade, then validated the forging process with simulation before production. The part was produced with a tailored die set and heat treatment cycle.
